I’m Tuulikki
I could tell a lot about myself but the photos I take are not about me. They are about other people. I want to plan the photo shoots carefully with the people I photograph. It’s not easy for everyone to be photographed (including myself). You might think that you don’t know how to be in the photo or you might have insecurities.
Or maybe you are very comfortable with being photographed but you need help with ideas – what are you aiming for with the photos? Are they for memorizing your life or something else? I can help you with that as well.
Shortly about me and photos: There’s nothing I enjoy more than taking portraits outdoors. I find that outdoor settings and natural light bring out the best in my subjects combined with some photography magic.
My goal is to capture real moments of real people that tell a story. For me, photography is all about connecting with people and the world around us.

Voisin kertoa paljon itsestäni, mutta ottamani kuvat eivät ole niinkään minusta. Ne kertovat muista ihmisistä. Haluan suunnitella kuvaukset huolellisesti yhdessä kuvattavien kanssa. Kaikille ei ole helppoa olla kuvattavana (mukaan lukien minä itse). Ehkä ajattelet, ettet osaa olla kuvassa, tai sinulla voi olla epävarmuuksia kuvaamisen suhteen.
Tai ehkä tunnetkin olosi hyvin mukavaksi kameran edessä, mutta tarvitset ideoita – mitä tavoittelet kuvilla? Ovatko ne muistoja elämäsi tallentamista varten vai jotain ihan muuta? Voin auttaa sinua tässäkin.
Tässä lopuksi lyhyesti minusta ja valokuvista: Nautin eniten muotokuvien ottamisesta luonnossa tai kaupunkimiljöössä.
Mielestäni miljöö ja luonnonvalo tekevät kuvista ja ihmisistä mielenkiintoisia yhdistettynä valokuvauksen “taikaan”. Tavoitteeni on ottaa kuvia, jotka kertovat tarinan, ja jotka ovat aitoja hetkiä oikeista ihmisistä. Minulle valokuvaus on ennen kaikkea ihmisten ja ympäröivän maailman kanssa yhteyden luomista.

Podría contar muchas cosas sobre mí, pero las fotos que hago no van sobre mí. Van sobre otras personas. Quiero planificar las sesiones de fotos con calma y en colaboración con las personas a las que retrato. No siempre es fácil ponerse delante de una cámara (yo incluida). Puede que pienses que no sabes cómo estar en una foto o que tengas inseguridades.
O quizás te sientas muy a gusto siendo fotografiado/a, pero necesites ideas — ¿qué buscas con las fotos? ¿Son para recordar una etapa de tu vida o tienen otro propósito? También puedo ayudarte con eso.
Brevemente sobre mí y la fotografía: no hay nada que disfrute más que sacar retratos al aire libre. Creo que los entornos naturales y la luz del día sacan lo mejor de cada persona, junto con un poco de magia fotográfica.
Mi objetivo es capturar momentos reales de personas reales que cuenten una historia. Para mí, la fotografía consiste en conectar con las personas y con el mundo que nos rodea.
